Early update! I have like, 45 minutes until next class (and Minecraft.net is down :c) so I'll kill some time with this! Win-win for everyone!

    Commander Shepard

I honestly shouldn't even have to explain this. We all dream of outer space, right? Those of us who believe in life on other planets will spend a good minute or two of our life thinking of the possibilities of that predicament and what it either entails for the human race or how it'll dictate the future. ... right? ... I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.

Point is-- I think about it a lot. I think about it a lot more than I normally would, thanks to Mass Effect, and it makes me ever curious as to what the rest of the universe is like. Either that, or what it would be like to live the in the Mass Effect universe. Different species living together and waging war against each other, having trillions of planets at your instant disposal thanks to the Mass Relays... It kind of blows my mind at times to think about it for too long because I don't know if I could just be suddenly thrust into that kind of a universe but I would certainly like to see it in reality. It's this that has made me wish more than once that I was Shepard's shoes. Not just because SHE is the ultimate space-badass but there's just so much to the Mass Effect universe... man. I can't even really say it in proper words. That shit is just awesome and I want to go to there.

I've actually had dreams of 2012 being the day everything turns into the Mass Effect universe.

    I still do.

Shepard's a good choice. I would pick someone a little more simple and laid back though. Someone that isn't constantly in danger. Someone like Mothership Q.

    Or maybe just Hawk Manson.

I'd prefer to be an SNK boss, like Geese Howard or Rugal Bernstein.  Why?

    • Phenomenal martial arts prowess.
    • Insane hit priority.
    • Never truly dying until the day my rival views my corpse and destroys it with his own hands.
    • The power.
    • The money.
    • The chicks.

    @JoyfullOFrockets: ... DUDE.

@JJWeatherman: Being in constant danger would be a huge bummer but I would go through a lot more to have the chance to walk on Illium in person.

@Hailinel: 'Cept you'll always be looked down upon from the Capcom fans. WHICH THEY'RE FULL OF SHIT FOR, I MIGHT ADD.

@me3639: Thank you! I enjoy writing it, so we both benefit from this! Huzzah! Also, John Marston's another good pick.

I'd be the main character from Oblivion since I can literally do everything I want, and live a second evil life as the Gray Fox. Though living in a world that filled with glitches would only work if I had a save and load function... otherwise I'd be screwed.

@SlashseveN303: On the bright side, you could build stairs out of paintbrushes and arrows. I'm sure that kind of makes up for any glitching you would encounter. Unless it's falling through the world, which on Planet Earth would actually kind of fuck you up. And by fuck you up I mean you'd incinerate in the core.

@aurahack: Fine, I change my mind. I want to be the main character from a Harvest Moon game. Nothing bad can happen to me then. Just me, my dog, and some chicks I need to hook up with. Oh, and I guess there's that farm I need to take care of, but whatever.

@SlashseveN303: In a world where modern civilization doesn't exist, yeah, the Harvest Moon guy sounds pretty alright. That's also one of the things that'll cross my mind every now and then. Wondering what it'd be like if we were still, like, the Renaissance or something.
