The M-4 Shuriken is a submachine gun from Mass Effect 2. It is the default submachine gun.

Overview

The M-4 Shuriken is the default sub machine gun in Mass Effect 2. Despite being a burst gun, it is not very accurate; it also has a low damage output. For these reasons it is advised to pick up the M-12 Locustearly in the game if you have the DLC.

==Stats ==

 The M-4 Shuriken has a 240 rounds, and 24 rounds per clip.  Through  player driven tests, It has been determined that it  has a a  base DPS  of 89 damage per second. According to an      official post   on the Bioware  forums, it does 1.5 extra damage to shields and  barriers.  This makes it an effective weapon against enemies with shields (such as Geth) or barriers (such as Collectors).
