The M-451 Firestorm is a heavy weapon from Mass Effect 2. It is unlocked during Zaeed's loyalty mission.

==Description == The M-451 Firestorm is a heavy weapon from Mass Effect 2, but it is more accurately called a flamethrower. This weapon has very short range and is effective at suppressing the regenerative capabilities of Vorcha (Concept) and Krogan (Concept). It is also very effective against armor, shields, and biotic barriers. This weapon is also effective against melee enemies such as husks or varren and can act as "crowd control". The weapon also uses power cells very effectively and can be used multiple times. The name is a reference to the novella Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

==Acquisition == The M-451 Firestorm is found during Zaeed's loyalty mission on the body of a dead mercenary.
