The M-300 Claymore is a shotgun from Mass Effect 2. It is unlocked by choosing the shotgun upgrade on the Collector Ship.
Overview
The M-300 Claymore is a high powered shotgun in Mass Effect 2. It is available to Commander Shepard if the player chooses the shotgun upgrade on the Collector Ship. It has the most single shot damage of any shotgun in the game. The weapon can also be purchased for use with Grunt for 15,000 Platinum.

The M-300 Claymore has a 12 rounds, and 3 rounds per clip (before upgrades). Through player driven tests, It has been determined that it has a a base DPS of 164 damage per second. According to an official post on the Bioware forums, it does 1.25 extra damage to armor, shields, and barriers. This makes it an effective weapon in any mission of the game.
