The M-27 Scimitar is a semi-automatic shotgun in Mass Effect 2. It is acquired during Samara's recruitment mission. It is the best semi-automatic shotgun.

==Stats ==

 The M-27 Scimitar has a 16 rounds, and 8 rounds per clip (before upgrades).  Through  player driven  tests, It has been determined that it  has a a  base DPS  of 103 damage  per second. According to an       official post   on the Bioware   forums, it does 1.5 extra damage to shields and  barriers.  This makes  it an effective weapon against enemies with shields (such as Geth) or  barriers (such as Collectors).
