==Description == The Collector Particle Beam is a heavy weapon from Mass Effect 2. The particle beam utilizes highly focused radiation to break down shields and biotic barriers, but it is not as effective against armor. Although it is fully automatic, it uses five units of ammunition at the same time. This is one of the most effective heavy weapons in the game with extremely high accuracy and power. It also has a very high capacity magazine that eliminates the need to reload make the Collector Particle Beam one of the best heavy weapons in the game.
==Acquisition == The Collector Particle Beam is found on the mission on Horizon. The weapon is picked up from a dead Collector near the stairs where Shepherd first find the colonists frozen by the Seeker Swarms.
