"Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" spawned 2 television game shows on PBS and an animated cartoon show on FOX. 

Game show contestant

The first game show that ran from 1991 to 1996 was titled "Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?"  The show was hosted by Lynne Thigpen who played "The Chief" and Greg Lee who played a detective at ACME agency.  It placed contestants in the role of potential hires at the agency. The game played three rounds of questions and clues in an attempt to track down various cartoon criminals that worked for Carmen Sandiego.  The winner of the show could win a trip to any state in North America.                        

The other game show that aired on PBS as well from 1996 to 1998 was titled "Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego?" Kevin Shinick hosted along side Lynne Thigpen who again played played the role of "The Chief." The show had basically the same arrangement as the previous only with history as a factor in the questions.  The contestant that successfully won the third round received a pc as a prize.

The animated cartoon series titled "Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?" aired on FOX from 1994 to 1999.  The show followed a boy named Zach and his sister Ivy who worked at ACME. Throughout the series they attempt to track down and arrest Carmen Sandiego with help from "The Chief."
