Language Selection

CONCEPT

Games with language selection allow the player to choose which language is displayed or spoken in the game.

Overview

Some games give the player the option to change the games text and/or speech. Some games ask the player which language to be used before the main menu comes up. There are also games that allow the player to choose the language from the options menu. Some of the games that allow the player to choose the language will just show a text list of the languages, while others will show pictures of the flags.

E.F.I.G.S

E.F.I.G.S is an acronym which means English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. These languages are often the first five languages a game is available in when released in European markets.
