LOCATION

Inspired by the Halo 2 map Lockout, one would assume Guardian's popularity would diminish when Lockout's proper remake, Blackout was released. A testament to its design, Guardian still holds up as one of the best competitive Halo 3 maps with a near-flawless layout.

one of halo's more popular maps guardian is mainly  used for team doubles and team slayer. The map is well balanced with only two power weapons. Athough guardian has many similarities to lockout it plays quite differently, for instance there are now to mancannons providing eascape routes and some powerups(active camo and overshield). one of the main reasons lockout was so liked was because of the many jumps it had and although this is continued in guardian there are alot less.
