Community Spotlight Changes in the Future

1 year and 5 months that's how old the Current thread is for the Spotlight. It has served me well and I have a lot of memories on the thread. However for multiple reasons it's time for a new coat of paint. 1 year and 5 months that's how old the Current thread is for the Spotlight. It has served me well and I have a lot of memories on the thread. However for multiple reasons it's time for a new coat of paint. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wasn't open to suggestions but here's what I am thinking:
- Weekly newsletter style
- A new thread every week in the same vein as the Community Showcase on Screened.
- Trimming down of the "Useful Feature" part of the Spotlight
- Better interaction with users (hopefully)
So at this point I'm open to suggestions and advice on the matter but unless something goes horrible I'll give this new format a go for next week and see what the results are like. If I think we can maintain such a format then we will go form there, if not then it was worth a go and we'll go back to the original format.
