Yes, this game is worth buying. It features the best graphics I have seen on a side-scroller, glorious animation, actions, and puzzles galore. If you are a person that has operable fingers and enjoyed games such as Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Bionic Commando, Braid, and countless other side-scrollers then you sir and/or madam would love Trine.
The game features gorgeous 3D graphics, three different character classes that you can switch through to tackle objectives and puzzles, and a rather long storyline. There are a few problems with the game though. First and foremost, it is not out on the Xbox 360 Live Arcade yet, which due to licensing problems with Microsoft might never happen. Secondly, the plot and story are long, but not very interesting. Overall though, you’ll get hooked quick and this game is definitely under-rated due to only being available on the dead (yeah I said it) Playstation 3 and the niche of PC Gaming.
