The Xbox one first released in 2013 and I realized that not a lot of people wanted it, here are some possibility of why people didn't buy it these are my opinions)
- It was thought to be too expensive
- There wasn't enough games to play when it first arrived
- Possibility of worries on the red ring of death?
- Some say it's just about the same as the 360
Also another quick point: Lots of people that I know have said to prefer the PS4 for god knows what reason but also people are to have said that they dislike the Xbox one controllers.
So that's a good enough reason to why people didn't buy the Xbox one when it arrived.
