Summary: Halo 3 is a wonderful experience top to bottom. It is the final chapter in the Halo trilogy and concludes the story of Humanity's plight against the Covenant and Flood. It offers every feature you could ever possibly want in a video game. It is a community driven game that will stay on top for years to come.

Good: Excellent Gameplay, Gripping Story, Superb Soundtrack, Sharing options through Forge and Videos, Addictive Multiplayer and Co-operative play.

Bad: Art style is excellent but technically the graphics aren't the best the system has to offer. Not much else.

Breakdown:

Gameplay:
Halo 3 offers the same classic Halo experience you have come to love. The perfect blend of shooting, melee and grenades still remains while it also brings something new to the table - equipment. Equipment allows users to deploy different battle items such as Bubble Shields, Power Drainers, Health Regenerators, ect. This adds an extra layer of depth to the tride and true combat. Matchmaking multiplayer will keep people busy for years.

Graphics: The graphics offer beautiful environments with wide open vista's , cool particle effects, detailed models, and nice water effects. While it is colorful and artistically well done it doesn't bring the same technical "wow" factor as a game like Gears of War.

Soundtrack and Sound: The soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal, the theme song is amazing and the rest of the tracks are equally as good. The music will kick in at the right moments and makes the experience feel more epic and grandious. The sound effects of the guns and vehicles are equally as impressive as the soundtrack; everything packs a beefy punch and makes weapons gratifying to shoot.

Features: The amount of features in this game is exhaustive. It an online four player co-operative mode where players can experience the entire campaign together. It also has a mode called Forge where you can create your own maps and game types and then share them with friends. Another great feature is the Theater mode where you can watch past games and make clips of your favorite moments, and also allows you to take screenshots from any game you've played. The matchmaking for multiplayer is also top notch and will match you up with other players of similar skill for nail bitingly close experiences online.

I would recommend this title to anyone who owns an Xbox 360.
