The second game I ever played on PC was the first Simon the Sorcerer. The first being Doom.
I have not played the third in the series, but I don't thats needed to understand this game. The game explains it you almost immediately, Simon has a double. You need to find that double and stop him doing whatever evil that may be.
The graphics are really, well beautiful, kinda. There is something strange to it I can't really put my hands on. You will get used to it. The music and the sounds are simply amazing!
It feels strange being back in the Magic World, everything is so different. I wish they could have stayed more faithful to the original layout. The new hint system is ok, it doesn't really help much. At some point you are in prison and just by looking at the things you have it's very obvious that you need to do it, but I didn't see how to do it. The hint system didn't enlighten me. But in good old fashioned point and click style, you will eventually find it out!
My love for the two first games is probably the only reason why I played this one so much. If you want to play a Simon the Sorcerer game, play the old ones!
