Tron Evolution I can easily say is my guilty pleasure. I knew it wasn't going to be a great game going into it but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed playing it.
The visuals alone are great. You definatly feel that you are in the Tron universe. The story is mildly interesting for Tron fans and bridges the two movies fairly nicely. There is a scene in the game that renacts a scene in the movie in a fairly poor manner but I loved the connection. You can really get a sense of when the game takes place.
The gameplay is basically a third person brawler. You get different disc abilities and you use the disc powers to defeat specific enemy types. There is a few gameplay changes where you drive a light cycle or a tank but they feel uninspired. The light cycle stuff gets more excited when you are in the multiplayer where you can just jump on a cycle at any time.
The multiplayer doesn't seem like it was meant for anyone other than Tron fans, which could be said about the whole game in general. For some reason I can't put this game down. It's extremely average but a lot of fun if you don't let your expectation get too high. After all it's no Tron Legacy.
