A chair made of steel sometimes used for sitting, sometimes used for destruction!

The steel folding chair, commonly used for sitting during events, is often employed more creatively in video games and live entertainment than real life. This chair often makes an appearance as a weapon in professional wrestling and zombie apocalypse titles; mirroring its 'real' world implementation as a blunt device for hitting opponents in the face and back while standing or prone. Steel chairs in games commonly mirror their more practical application as a means of seating in auditoriums devoid of stadium-style or theater-style accommodations. In these instances, the chairs are aligned in rows or half-circles with ample spacing for patrons to enter or exit safely down the middle or exit wings. This space remains open for actors to take advantage of the floor while including the audience as a participant in the production. Steel chairs are chosen, mostly, because they can be quickly placed, folded, and removed as the scene dictates. They are far more easy to clean that cloth folding chairs which require specialized equipment for cleaning the seat.
