Overview

Games in the WCW series were based of off World Championship Wrestling's TV shows and Pay Per View events and featured their many athletes as playable characters. Some of the more famous wrestlers included Sting (Character), Goldberg, Booker T (Character), Kevin Nash (Character), and Hulk "Hollywood" Hogan. Several games also featured the rebel faction n.W.o. (New World Order.) The last game in the series was the poorly received WCW Backstage Assaultbefore the company was bought out by the WWF (now WWE (Franchise)) in 2001.
