To use the Flight Pads Banjo (Character) and Kazooie (Character) need to fnd Bottles (Character) in Treasure Trove Coveon top of Captain BlubbersShip, Bottles will then teach the bear and the bird how to use them and give you 25 Red Feathersto get started. To activate your flight mode all you need to do is to stand on it the press A, to fly higher you can press A again but each time you do that you will lose a red feather. However if your just looking for a short trip you can use it even without feathers as taking of takes no feathers at all.
