Lord

CONCEPT

The main characters of each Fire Emblem game. Whenever one of these characters are defeated in battle, the game is lost.

Overview

Lords are a common character class of the Fire Emblem (Franchise) series. Each game in the series, has at least one Lord type character, even if the character's class is not called Lord. Most Lords are based off of Prince Marth, the first Lord in the series who was a blue haired young man, who only wields a sword. Of course, there are also many characters who deviate from this design. The most important trait of this character however, is that if they are defeated in battle, you automatically get a Game Over.

Pseudo Lords

Some games, such as Fire Emblem: Gaiden and BS Fire Emblem have characters who are not called Lords, but behave in the same way as Lords. In fact, all the main characters of BS Fire Emblem use generic classes, such as cavalier or thief, however they still give a Game Over when they are defeated in battle.

Lords

Archanea/Ylisse

Marth (Character)

The prince of Altea (Location), he leads the charge against the Shadow Dragon Medeus (Character) and wields Falchion (Object), the sword of his ancestor Anri. He appears as a Lord in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryu to Hikari no Ken, Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, and Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo.

Nyna (Character)

The princess of Archanea, she accompanies Marth on his quest against Medeus in the War of Shadows. She acts as a Lord in BS Fire Emblem, Chapter 1 and Chapter 4.

Minerva (Character)

The warrior princess of Macedon (Location) known as the Crimson Dragoon, she leads the invasion of Aurelis. In BS Fire Emblem, she acts as Lord in Chapter 2.

Hardin (Character)

The prince of Aurelis (Location) also known as Coyote, he leads a resistance against Dolhr and Macedon in secret. He acts as Lord in BS Fire Emblem, Chapter 2.

Rickard (Character)

A thief traveling around Archanea, he is able to get away with his crimes through his boyish charms. He acts as a Lord in BS Fire Emblem, Chapter 3.

Camus (Character)

Know as Camus the Sable, he is the leader of Grust (Location) army in the War of Shadows. He acts as a Lord in BS Fire Emblem, Chapter 4.

Chrom (Character)

The prince of Ylisse and a descendant of Marth, wielding his ancestral weapon Falchion. He is the first Lord of Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Lucina (Character)

Chrom's daughter from the future and the princess of Ylisse from that time period. She travels to the past and disguises herself as Marth, wielding a future version of Falchion. She is the second Lord of Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Valencia

Alm (Character)

Leader of the Sofian Liberation Army, he leads an army against Prime Minister Dozeh, and Emperor Rudolf of Rigel. He acts as the first Lord of Fire Emblem: Gaiden.

Cellica

A priestess of Mila, she goes on a journey to discover the truth behind the Goddess of Earth's disappearance. She acts as the second Lord of Fire Emblem: Gaiden.

Jugdral (Location)

Sigurd (Character)

The young Lord of Chalphy, he leads an army against the Kingdom of Verdane (Location) after his homeland is attacked. He is the first Lord of Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu.

Celice

The son of Lord Sigurd, he is also known as the Earl of Light. He leads a Liberation Army against the Grandbell Empire in the year 776. He is the second Lord of Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu.

Leaf

The prince of Lenster, he raises an army to overthrow King Blume's invasion force. He is the Lord of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776.

Elibe (Location)

Roy (Character)

The young Lord of Pherae, he is appointed as leader of the Lycian Alliance after his father becomes to ill to lead it. He is the Lord of Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi.

Lyn (Character)

A woman from the Lorca trible of Sacae (Location), she goes on a journey to meet her grandfather in Lycia (Location). The first Lord of Fire Emblem (Game).

Eliwood (Character)

The young Lord of Pherae, he leaves home to find his father after he goes missing. The second Lord of Fire Emblem.

Hector

The young Lord of Ostia, he accompanies Eliwood on his quest to find his father. The third Lord of Fire Emblem.

Magvel (Location)

Eirika (Character)

The princess of Renais (Location), she forced to fight after her home is invade by Grado (Location). The first Lord of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Ephraim (Character)

The prince of Renais, he left home to fight against Grado after they declared war on his country. The second Lord of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Tellius (Location)

Ike (Character)

A mercenary from Crimea (Location), he is hired to defeat the Daein (Location) army when they invade Crimea. He is a Lord in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

Elincia (Character)

The princess of Crimea, she barely escaped from the Daein army, and hired Ike to protect her. She acts as a Lord in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and for part of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

Micaiah (Character)

Known also as the Silver Haired Maiden, she leads a rebel army against the Begnion Occupation Army. She acts as a Lord in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

Temporary Lords

These characters are those who lead the armies in some maps, but are not permanent units who give a Game Over after a certain point in the story. In particular, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn features many characters who act as a Lord, such as Nephenee (Character), Tibarn (Character), and Geoffrey (Character), however after a few chapters, they are treated as regular units.

Archanea

Merric (Character)

A mage from the magic city of Khadein (Location), he is a close friend of Prince Marth. He acts as a Lord of the first DLC episode of Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo.

Katarina

An assassin working for the Dark Pontifex Gharnef, she wants a better life for herself and her comrades. She acts as the Lord of the second DLC episode of Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo.

Ogma (Character)

Captain of the Talys (Location) Mercenaries, he devotes his life to serving Princess Caeda and her father. He acts as the Lord of the third DLC episode of Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo.
