Cider

Cider a Windows compatibility layer optimized for gaming which is a proprietary extension of WINE that enables PC games to run on Intel powered Macs with little or no modification. Cider is used by many developers and publishers including: EA, Ubisoft and Rockstar Games (Company) to bring their games to the Mac platform. Cider works by translating Windows specific API calls to Mac ones.
