J. William is a security guard working at the Colorado rocket launch site owned by Solis Space andamp;amp;amp; Aeronautics. His name is never mentioned by any other character, but it can be seen on his nametag in his one and only appearance in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. He is clearly incompetent at his gate watching job, eating pizzawhile reading a cartoon girlie magazine with his sunglasses on and almost mistaking a robot dogfor Raiden.
