Similar to her real-life counterpart, Special Week's birth-mother died shortly after giving birth to her, so she was instead raised by her mother's best friend, and now hopes to honor both mothers as she attends Tracen Academy for the first time. Special Week was one of the first Uma Musume characters to be announced for the franchise, along with Silence Suzuka (Character) and Tokai Teio (Character), with her official profile uploaded to twitter back in January 2017. Since then, she has been the main poster girl for the franchise, and the main protagonist of the first season of the Uma Musume anime.
