One of the main characters in SkyGunners, Ciel is a happy-go-lucky teenager whose skills seem beyond his years. Ciel acts as a comic foil to the more serious Copain and more reserved Femme.

The youngest of the three Gunners, Ciel hails from the town of Rive. Known to enjoy spiky hairdos, eating at outdoor cafés, and tinkering on the plane his grandfather built, Ciel is a skilled Gunner and a natural leader. Ciel is Copain's best friend, and the pair defended Rive together before the addition of Femme (Character) to their team. Rival (Character) seems to take a special interest in Ciel. Ciel's unique mission features Rival's first appearance as he intercepts Ciel by himself in the skies above Rive. Later, Rival singles Ciel out during the climactic final battle.
