Well its been 5 years in the making but Gmail has finally removed the Beta tag from its title. Now vying for a spot of the Microsoft dominated email industry, Gmail has earned a place in my heart for its faster load times and better spam filters. Now vying for a spot of the Microsoft dominated email industry, Gmail has earned a place in my heart for its faster load times and better spam filters. So even after 5 long years in Beta form its always a work in progress. And as the official Google Gmail blog points out, you can always toggle the Back to Beta feature :P
