Look, don't get me wrong. It is not a bad game. It is far from one of those games that you should avoid. But, I can't universally recommend this game, which is what this review system is for, I guess (on steam). The graphics are still good. I thought the plot was ok. Not bad, but also not amazing. It got a little too....deep for me at the very end for me, but it did wrap it up. As for the open world, it was not exactly open world. More like mario 64 or zelda 64 world world, with its little hubs, and sections. The game wants you to stealth through those parts, but I found it difficult to do. I tried to stealth, and shoot my way through, but I found my self frequently running out of ammo. I think I saw a loading tip say building at a build station uses up less resources. That would have been nice to know. I felt like through most of the game, it gave me more resource pouches than ammo, which was annoying. I get that it is survival horror, and you are supposed to save your ammo. But with the way the game is set up, I thought they were asking too much. The 'zombies' could very easily find me. If they scaled that back, and made stealth an ALWAYS kill, that would be better. Although I would grant not letting me stealth kill the fire people. I get that. But every other normal enemy should be one stab kill. And the knife is pathetic. I think I level it up all the way, and even then it felt like it would barley hurt people. Resident Evil 4, this game is not.
