basically im not gonna go into the storyline, producer, cos everyone knows all that information. fallout 3 in my opinion an amazing game. its got an azaming storyline, characters, concept, feel, soundtrack, controls, just great. its got the all new cool unique vats system. its got only 25 side quests, and an 10 hour campaign. but with the five expansions in the goty edition pumps up the completion time to about 20 hours at least i would of thought. there is no factions in fallout 3. for example it would be good if you could join the enclave if your bad, or the b.o.s. if your good. and get really immersed by completing quests for them. the wasteland looks bleak but with that its beautiful and serene. i love the fact that because of the nuclear war, theres obliviously not a load of people around anymore and i really like exploring and looting places. there seems to be a lot more voice actors with this game other than in oblivion where there were like 5 voice actors for all the npcs through out the game. in fallout 3 there is a lot of places to loot and explore and indulge but there is not too much unlike in oblivion. where for example in that game there are factions to join giving you loads more quests to do. but i find myself only trying to complete the main quest, fighters, mages guild just so i can say i completed them. but there is no factions in fallout 3 you can officially join so thats good in my opinion. i do more prefer the whole sci fi gun theme to the oblivions dungeons and dragons, swords and shields and magic theme. and there is too much to do in that game, quantity over quality, where as fallout 3 is big enough and still quality at the same time. i love exploring and just sensing nothing but the whistle of the occasional wind and silence. its a great game, with a amazing storyline, npcs, controls, vats system, side quests, expansions packs, guns, concept. and its got a simple user friendly levelling up system, so you can just go out there and kill stuff, explore, loot and have fun and get xp. but in the other game you have to use that particualr skill over and over again. for example if you want to raise your restorartion you would have to cast a healing spell over and over again or find a mudcrab and slash it with your sword to get your blade skill up with that it gets really frustrating and tedious where you have to find a safe place to do all that stuff rather than go out there and have fun like you do in fallout 3.  i know i have talked about a oblivion a lot but i need something to compare it to. one of my favourite games of all time.
