Dead Space is an amazing new IP from EA. The third person view from the right takes a little getting use to, but once you do, it feels just right. This game mixes the RPG skill system with a shooter, with VATS thrown in. As a FPS, it doesn't do so well, but VATS helps to make up for this. The graphics are superb, if somewhat brown, but it is a nuclear wasteland. This game appeals to the desire of destroying absolutely everything. The story is so-so, but the physics and fun more than make up for it. You can go through with your hammer and slam down buildings, or you can carefully place charges and move hydrogen tanks to maximize death and destruction.
