The more battles you win the more points you earn that you can take into the store and then buy more characters.
During battle you can use the characters primal abilities. Such as when battling with Cable, you're able to use his handgun for the power punch. And when the super move is executed he pulls out his energy cannon.
The combinations are endless. Its streetfighter with teams and better characters.
