Why you may or may not of played any of the previous Battlefield games you should at least give this one a go. With the new Frost game engine that they made this game with there is a new level of realistics to the FPS Genre. As you have heard by now yes you can blow walls apart. Great aspect of the game. If you are playing the game single player be prepared for some long missions. The missions seem to drag on but overall they are fun. The multiplayer aspect of the game is the best thing by far. The levels are very large compared to all other FPS' and some matches can take you quite a long time to play and win. As you work your way up the ranks you get points to unlock new weapons to use in your onslaught to capture or defend all of my, I mean our gold.
