A Secret area is a place hidden that few will find unless they know where to look.

Overview

Secret areas go by a few different names like warp zones in Mario to the cow level in Diablo 2. These areas are created by the developer of the game as a hidden bonus in the same respect as Easter Eggs. The difference between the two are that secret areas are whole spaces hidden within the game that allow the player access to later levels, powerful items, or many other things.
