Castle Shadowgate is the dark castle you must travel through in the games Shadowgate (Game) and Beyond Shadowgate (Game) to stop the evil wizard from releasing the an evil monster, the behemoth, onto the world. The castle is full of many nasty creatures, and traps that won't hesitate in taking you life if you should make one minor mistake. Beware of illusions in this castle, some things that might not seem like a threat could actually be the most dangerous thing you encounter in the castle. Also be sure to bring lots of torches, because if you run out then that's the end of you.
