Overview

The first Giana Sisters game was released for 1980s computer systems and was considered controversial due to its similarity to Super Mario Bros. Nevertheless, the game was very positively received by critics.

The game was followed up in 2009 by a Nintendo DS (Platform) release. In 2012, a Kickstarter-funded sequel was made for PC (Platform) and console platforms; a standalone expansion was released the year after.
