    Elite series

    The Coriolis stations' cuboctahedron shape became iconic in the Elite games, and one of the first things a new player would see upon starting the game. According to the Elite lore, the first Coriolis Station was constructed in the Lave system. In the Elite universe, Coriolis stations are some of the most common types of space stations, along with Rotating Wheel Space Stations. Coriolis Stations are usually between 1 and 4 kilometers in diameter.
