Background
Arthur Morgan was born in 1863 to Beatrice and Lyle Morgan. He is of mixed English and Welsh ancestry. Morgan's mother died of unknown causes, while his father was a petty criminal and outlaw. During his teens, an orphaned Morgan was taken in by Dutch van der Linde (Character) and Hosea Matthews (Character). He viewed the pair as surrogate father figures, and shared Dutch's values of living life free from the constraints of goverment and law. At some point in his life, Arthur had a child named Isaac. His co-parent and only child were both killed during a robbery dispute over ten dollars. Arthur also had a love interest named Mary Gillis for several years before their relationship broke off due to his outlaw lifestyle.

Personality
In spite of being an outlaw capable of intimidation, Arthur dislikes collecting debts for Leopold Strauss. He describes in his journal that he believes robbing people is more moral than doing it through the legal system. During one mission, Rains Fall gathers herbs and makes a remedy to alleviate Arthur's TB.
Trivia
