Say what you will about the sorry state of X-men as a film universe, they've put out some pretty good fucking movies, and that's what I'm looking for anyways. Hopefully this movie is one of those, and not one of the garbage ones. It seems like it's going in the right direction, I'm into the idea of a mature R rated Wolverine movie, seems like a more personal kind of story, and I kinda dig seeing him as an old man. This trailer made me realize I've been watching Jackman play Wolverine since I was like 9 years old, so it really fits. Thumbs up, Trailer.

My primary concern is that this system won't be very powerful if most of the guts are in that tablet thing. So I'm kind of hoping it will be at least 300, just to make sure it has some decent parts in it, I'd be totally fine with a 400 dollar price point.

I'm almost certainly going to pick it up once it gets an exclusive I care about (most likely that new Mario game). The console/handheld hybrid thing is super compelling to me. Aside from some rare occasions, almost all of my handheld gaming is done in a recliner in front of a 55 inch TV. If I can blow my Pokemon, and Monster Hunter up on to that, play them with a real ass controller, and get some decent HD graphics, then I will be super happy. Getting to occasionally play Zelda and Mario at work or in bed is just an added bonus. Focusing all of their developing power to a single device will really help their dry spell issue, and for anything less than 400 dollars, it would feel like a deal considering what it would've cost if I had to buy a new console and a new handheld, which history shows I am just enough of a sucker to do.

I like to imagine that Nintendo had a fucking crazy and stupid idea, like a gaming exosuit or something, then they heard all the internet rumors and thought "well that makes way more sense." and just did that.

My gut answer is that Stellaris is currently the game to beat for me. I'm pretty far behind on games this year though. I really have to play Tokyo Mirage Sessions, The Witness, Inside, and Dark Souls III.

This reminds me I really need to finish writing my 2015 game of the year list. I've had the order for ages. This is what happens when you wait until the new year. Never again.

At work I review our facilities after events to determine whether renters get their security deposit back or not, and the women's restroom is always worse. But I don't think that's because women are filthier, I think it's cause their restroom gets used 3 times as often.

I hang framed posters and art prints. As a rule I only hang stuff up if I think it's a cool piece of art, and not just because it's a thing I'm a fan of.

I just want the planets to be interesting to explore. So just really really really good procedural generation I guess.

I could probably pull that off in a shitty year for new releases, like say 2014, but it would drive me crazy if I tried to do it this year.
