Saying this as someone sitting about 3 feet from a 55 inch TV (who very much appreciates extravagant screen sizes), I always kind of regretted getting a 17 inch laptop. Personally I didn't find the difference over a 15 inch screen that noticeable, but I definitely noticed how much heavier it is, and it seems to kill my battery quicker (especially now that my battery is old). The only time I really appreciate it is when I'm using it to watch movies with other people, which is very rare. Just something to consider.

I seriously think that's one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. I've been looking forward to that Lyanna payoff for like a decade and it was great to finally get it. Onion Knight's such a great actor (though Jon's reaction is one of the only thing's I'd change. My choices are justice or practicality, I would like neither please). The second they mentioned the library I said out loud how much I wanted them to blow CG on an epic library shot, and they fucking did and it was awesome. Can you turn that thingy to reflect light depending on where you're looking?! Holy shit that's a cool library. And oh my god the Mad Queen. I don't know that any single episode has a higher death count, including The Red Wedding. I'm sad to see so many great characters go, but it was fucking awesome. I wish they'd ended with her coronation, I don't think anybody cares about Daenerys as much as they think we do, but finally she's on her way, and (hopefully) I never have to hear from Daario again (though I suspect this is just wishful thinking). Seriously though, The Seven Kingdoms couldn't be on more of a silver platter. Cersei has no one at her side except The Lannisters, if even them, Frey is dead and Edmure likely free, The Starks are on the move with the power of The Vale behind them, and then every other major house has allied up with The Targaryens, except for Euron's shipless Ironborn.

I'm glad I decided to watch this season. I was really considering skipping it after the last couple were so bad, and I didn't want the books spoiled. But out of fear that spoilers would be impossible to avoid (as has proven to be the case), I decided to give it a shot, and I'm really glad this season was worth watching (even if there are a ton of small things I would change).

If I were to make a list of ip that I'd like to see someone make an awesome game out of, Spiderman might be at the top of the list. The studio choice is amazing. I've watched the trailer like 3 times. There really wasn't too much information other than that though. I was happy to hear it's not set in any preestablished marvel universe.

I will not vote for a candidate who doesn't deserve it, and in my opinion neither of them are worthy of being president. The democratic primary was such a disappointment, and the Republican primary was an embarassment. Of course I'll still vote, either third party, write in, or no preference. Whichever way makes it clearest to my party that their candidate was unworthy.

I have to echo the sentiments that the discounts this sale aren't what they once were (though admittedly a lot of the games I wanted are still pretty new). I've been waiting for this one though, so I still spent like 80 bucks. Got Darkest Dungeon, Firewatch, Hyper Light Drifter, Oxenfree, and Superhot.

Super bummed about this. Its a shame it happened so soon. Good luck Austin.

I keep up with all of the Giant Bomb podcasts (except Alt+F1), My Brother My Brother and Me, and The Adventure Zone. I also listen to Total Geekall, but pretty sporadically, it's a relaunch of another podcast and they lost a lot of what I liked in the transition. When I went to Phoenix Comic Con a couple weeks ago I discovered Brandon Sanderson has a writing podcast called Writing Excuses, and that's been my jam lately, though I'm not sure it will become a regular thing.

I do not, but if I ever sort out the girl part, I'd definitely think about having one.

Somehow someday this movie will be in my brain.
