Black Fly
A flying machine piloted by Black. It drops spinning laser mines and fires a beam that rotates around the screen.
Overview
The Black Fly appears in the last stage of Gunstar Heroes (Game) as Black (Character)'s last stand. The fight takes place on an elevator that moves and up and down depending on what attack the Black Fly is using. It starts out by flying off screen to drop mines that create laser barriers in various patterns. Some spin around, while others create lanes the player must use to avoid taking damage as the elevator shoots upwards.
Always Be Moving
The other attack involves firing a beam that splits off in three different directions that will rotate around the screen. The elevator moves down during this attack to help with reaching platforms on the side of the screen that can be used to get up and over the Black Fly. Players must keep pace with the lasers while scrambling around the screen to avoid damage.
