==Gunstar Heroes == Black is a round man who wears a black suit and sunglasses. He works for the Empire and possesses one of the mystical gems sought out by the Gunstars. His stage is the Dice Palace, a fortress equipped with a "silly dice maze" that revolves around board games and dice tosses. Since he has no special powers or abilities, when cornered he relies on dirty tricks like pretending to surrender and throwing decoy gems that explode. Players will fight Black twice in the game. The first encounter is against his Black Beat Stepper (Object) machine. The second encounter is against the airborne Black Fly (Object) in the game's last level.
