History

The most famous jedi temple was the temple on Coruscant. The temple was created to train Jedi initiates and eventually graduate Jedi students as Knights or Masters. The temple on Coruscant was nearly destroyed during the Great Jedi Purge (Concept) in 19 B.B.Y when the Sith (Concept) took over. Some parts of the temple still operated, and the spirits of Jedi still were there.

After the destruction of the Second Death Star, and the beginning of the New Republic, Luke Skywalker (Character) made a new temple on Yavin IV (Location). This new temple served the New Jedi Order in the years to come.
