Overview

The 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi is the primary setting of the fighting game BlazBlue:  Calamity Trigger.  The city is constructed in a tall, tower-like fashion with lower-class districts existing in the lower levels and the more affluent living in the upper reaches.  It is also home to a branch of the Novus Orbis Librarium, the dictatorial organization that governs the known world.

Trivia

The city of Kagutsuchi is named after a Japanese god of the same name.  Kagutsuchi was said to have killed his mother Izanami (Character) by burning her to death as she gave birth to him.  He was subsequently killed by his father, Izanagi (Character).
