More than three thousand years before the coming of Conan (Character) the Cimmerian, and his later seizing of the Aquilonian throne, the dark nation of Acheron ruled northern Hyboria (Location). A nation devoted to the worship of <span>Set</span> and hell-bent on the mastery of black sorcery, Acheron was a vile place wherein the blood of sacrificial victims dyed the labyrinthine city streets red. Now ages have past and though the Acheronian conquests have long-since ceased, remnants of this ancient civilization still torture Hyboria and her people.
