Train Simulator 2015
This is the upcoming version of the annual simulator franchise. This will be a free game engine update to anyone who owns TS 2014.
New Features
Train Simulator 2015 expanded upon the existing feature set of 2014, while adding a new Academy mode, designed to make the game easier to learn for new players. The Academy mode allowed players to quickly and easily learn the basics of various Steam, Electric, and Diesel locomotives.
Other changes include a new cloud engine, that provides a better sky box for certain routes, allowing for enhanced lighting conditions. Changes were also made to the creation mode, allowing faster and easier creation of custom routes.
Included Routes
Train Simulator 2015 Included the following routes, previously available as DLC.
- New York to New Haven (USA)
- East Coast Main Line: London-Peterborough (UK)
- Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany)
It also included three additional locomotives.
- Hitachi Class 801
- Amtrak Acela Express
- DB BR 411 'ICE-T'
