Overview

A railroad crossing is a place where train tracks cross over the road. When a train comes it has right of way so the cars have to wait until it fully crosses. It often has gates to regulate traffic for this purpose although some just have the sign and flashing lights and some even just have the sign.

Railroad crossings are usually a good indicator that there is a running train in the game and that the player should watch out for it.
