Overview

Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster and the Beanstalk, known in the North American PS1 cover art as Tiny Toon Adventures: The Great Beanstalk, is a comedic fantasy point-and-click adventure game developed and published by TerraGlyph for Windows PCs and Macintosh computers in 1996. It later received a Sony PlayStation release by NewKidCo (Company) in North America on October 27, 1998 and in Europe on November 1999.

Based on the WB cartoon series Tiny Toon Adventures (Franchise), Buster and the Beanstalk puts Buster Bunny (Character) and Plucky Duck (Character) in a fairy-tale fantasy adventure loosely based on Jack and the Beanstalk. Similar to interactive storybooks, the game primarily involves clicking on random objects in a scene and watching a funny cartoon animation, with the goal being to use hints to find pieces of a key and unlock a castle high in the beanstalk.

It features the same 2D animated style and voice acting as the cartoon. The PS1 version of the game adds extra scenes, including puzzle-platformer segments where you directly control Plucky and dodge obstacles to reach different scenes (in an open-world scenario).

TerraGlyph later made a successor, with Tiny Toon Adventures: Toonenstein - Dare to Scare!
