The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle is a classic style 2D point-and-click style adventure game. Players can click on various objects in each of the games locations. These objects will either give players an inventory item, bit of dialog, or even go to a new location.

Players have an inventory that holds items that are collected throughout the game. These items can be used in various ways to solve puzzles and progress.

The game also contains small mini-games such as having to avoid crowds of people while chasing a suspect.
