WARP's final game for the 3DO brings nine of their previous short games and mini-games into one collection.

Overview

Short Warp: Warp's Short Game Collection, is a comedic indie mini-game collection developed and published by Warp for the 3DO in Japan on January 15, 1996. The last 3DO game released by Warp, Short Warp features eight of the studio's earlier short games and mini-games, along with one new mini-game. Only 10,000 copies of the game were printed, each numbered and stamped by Kenji Eno (Person) himself. In addition, a portion of the proceeds were donated to the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention, with each copy of the game including a condom.

Game List

  • Hata-age Daigaku, originally a mini-game in Uchuu Seibutsu Flopon-kun, has you follow the directions of a cat creature in which flag to put out.
  • Dance Tengoku, originally a mini-game in Uchuu Seibutsu Flopon-kun (as well as the localized Trip'd release), is an interactive visualizer.
  • Oyaji Hunter, originally a mini-game in Uchuu Seibutsu Flopon-kun, is a game in which you mash buttons to beat up a pervert.
  • Totsugeki Karakuri Megadasu!! is a first-person robot battling game.
  • Animalis, originally a mini-game in Totsugeki Karakuri Megadasu!!, is a unique take on the card game Concentration (Concept), where the game is played on a 4x5 playfield that replenishes itself by falling from the top. The backs of cards are also in one of four colors, and falling cards that make a group of three-or-more automatically clear them from the board.
  • Nobunaga no Nebou, originally a mini-game in Totsugeki Karakuri Megadasu!!, is a sequel to Oyaji Hunter in which you mash buttons to wake up the feudal lord Nobunaga.
  • Mahjaris - A falling-block game with mahjong tiles, similar to China Town (Game) and Raku Jongg (Game). All tiles are based on winds and honor tiles, with the goal being to match three of the same tile to clear them.
  • Uchuu Seibutsu Flopon-kun 2 is based on the localized variant of the original Uchuu Seibutsu Flopon-kun, known as Trip'd, and originally appeared in Flopon World.
  • Hyper Komanchikku is a button combination pressing game based on Beat Takeshi's "Komanechi!" gag. It was created for this collection.
