Sargon V: World Class Chess is a digital chess game developed and published by Activision (Company) for DOS PCs in 1991. It also received Japanese releases forNEC PC-98 and FM Towns (Platform) computers in 1992, as well as a Macintosh release in 1994. The fifth and final main installment of the Sargon (Franchise) series of chess games, and the sequel to Sargon 4 (Game), Sargon V features an updated user interface, some new gameplay features (such as the option to pit the AI against itself, the option to challenge the AI in a strict tournament-level capacity, and some new training tools). It is notable for having the option to show an animation of a hand reaching down onto the board to grab and move pieces (with a human hand for the human players and an alien robotic hand for the AI players).
Can be either 3D or 2D.
