An RPG based on the Monster Maker CCG franchise. Unlike other video game adaptations, it's a traditional RPG rather than a card game.
Overview
Monster Maker III: Hikaru no Majutsushi ("Light of the Wizard") is a turn-based RPG from Sofel and the third game of theirs based on the Monster Maker CCG. Monster Maker is similar to Magic: The Gathering and has its own persistent fantasy setting. With this third game, Sofel built a standard RPG from the setting and lore from the Monster Maker franchise. The Super Famicom saw one more Monster Maker game from Sofel: Monster Maker Kids, which plays more like a board game. The previous two Sofel Monster Maker games were Game Boy exclusives.
