Monopoly Junior is a virtual board game developed by Minds-Eye Productions and published by Hasbro Interactive for Windows PCs in 1999. It is a video game adaptation of the Hasbro board game Monopoly Junior, itself a simplified children's spin-off of the classic board game Monopoly (Franchise). Set in an amusement park, the game has players navigating around the board with dice rolls while purchasing amusements (or giving cash to others for partaking in their amusements), with the goal being to have the most cash on-hand when one player goes bankrupt. Unique to this version are special mini-games that can be played in certain amusements for bonus cash. While several parts of the original game remain the same, some are simplified to reduce complexity and keep the game going at a moderate pace. These include a smaller board (with single-dice rolls), shorter denominations, simplified properties (with forced purchases and no improving, auctioning, or mortgaging), and a less grueling Jail ("Rest Rooms") mechanic.
