Monopoly Deal
A digital adaptation of the card game Monopoly Deal, itself a spin-off of the board game Monopoly.
Overview
Monopoly Deal is a digital card game developed by Asobo Studio (Company) and published digitally by Ubisoft for the Xbox One (Platform), PlayStation 4 (Platform), Xbox 360 (Platform), and PlayStation 3 (Platform) on November 18, 2014. An adaptation of the real-life card game of the same name, itself a spin-off of the mainline Monopoly series of board games, Monopoly Deal puts up to five players (local or online) in a race to be the first to have three full groups of cards (resembling properties from the board game) on their playfield. Similar to the board game, much of the game involves the transfer of properties, exchange of money (with mechanics for rent and debt), and the use of "action cards" for special events. It was released alongside Monopoly Plus (Game), and was bundled with it for the retail release Monopoly Family Fun Pack.
